Goals and Resolutions 2018: Update 6/28

I started a job and I've been working my butt off. I have been slacking on some resolutions, but now that I'm making an extra income... hopefully, I can complete more of these. Fingers crossed.  Goals and Resolutions for 2018 Marathon/Run .  I would like to either run in a marathon or a fun-run type activity. I am not good at running or walking for that matter, so that is one thing I'd like to do in 2018. I feel like training for it alone would help my health. Go to the beach .  As a person who lived near the beach for 14 years of their life, I never liked the beach. I went to one in 2015 (the Bahamas) and fell in love with it. I want to go this year with Jude since he has never seen a beach (except in pictures).  Create a fragrance free bath bomb recipe.   I am allergic to fragrances, but I like the idea of bath bombs. I want to create a fragrance free recipe and make a bunch to put on an etsy shop. Learn to dance.  Take a dance class, even if...

Life Update: 5/7/2018

The first part of my life update is to let you know that I got Ben and Jerry's ice cream on my 8 button and now I'm incredibly sad because it's sticky. Now let's get onto the actual update since my addiction to non-dairy delicious ice cream is not really an update. It's a constant. Let's see... Since April, I've had a lot of ups and downs in every aspect of my life. The week of my surgery was rough. My stepfather had a seizure at home (which in the last month... we have found out that no one can figure out why). It was the scariest situation because I've never had to call 9-1-1 before for a medical emergency and I felt completely helpless. Thankfully, he's okay now. A few days after that, I had surgery on my nose. It was gross and maybe one day I'll write a blog about the process. It happened on April 13th (Friday the 13th, woo!). I had a septoplasty, biturbinate reduction, and something to do with a concha bullosa. I have no idea what really...

March 2018 TV Show Cancellations & Renewals

Marchin' right on into April. We are almost at the end of the Winter television show run and at the beginning of the Spring television show run. Summer is only a few months away. I found a lot of good television shows this Fall/Winter, but unfortunately, there's been a lot of crappy ones too. It seems like a lot of shows want to achieve that 30 minute sitcom perfection that my generation and prior grew up loving. It's apparently harder to achieve than you think because so many keep getting cancelled. Here's what made the cut. Renewals The Good Doctor (ABC) - Season 2 Schitt's Creek (Pop) - Season 5 Black Mirror (Netflx) - Season 5 The Wall (NBC) - Season 3 Power (Starz) - Season 6 Dancing with the Stars (ABC) The Bachelor (ABC) Child Support (ABC) America's Funniest Home Video (ABC) Travelers (Netflix) - Season 3 The Sinner (USA) - Season 2 Will & Grace (NBC) - Season 11 Hollywood Game Night (NBC) - Season 6 Queer Eye (Netflix) Nailed It!...

2018 Goals: 3/25 Update

March is almost over. It is almost April! So we are essentially four months into the year. I made a lot of goals and resolutions for 2018. I'm hoping that this year is the year that there is change! I crave a change in my life. So far this year, I've been down and I've been up. I feel a lot better than I have in months, but I'm still not feeling great. I have accomplished a bunch on my list! Goals and Resolutions for 2018 Marathon/Run .  I would like to either run in a marathon or a fun-run type activity. I am not good at running or walking for that matter, so that is one thing I'd like to do in 2018. I feel like training for it alone would help my health. The New House: Before

Image
We bought a house!!! It is perfect for what we need. We are essentially two households into one house. It's hard to find something is together but separate. We did it though! It's in a good area. It's in the school district I wanted for Jude. It's near delicious food and fun shops. It's seriously everything we wanted (well, Caleb wanted a sauna). We are in the process right now of cleaning and painting and changing a few things here and there. We are also remodeling the master bathroom upstairs. I wanted to show you guys a little bit of the remodel, but it isn't done yet and probably won't be for another week or two. But for the difference to make a difference (ha)... you need to see the before. Please do not stalk me.   We have a garage (yay!!) and it's a mid-entry so the splitting aspect is easier. The stairs to the house (and in the house) aren't horrible compared to where we are now. Living room (upstairs) Dining room Kitchen ...
