My name is Dori B. I am a twenty-five year old mother, wife, daughter, and friend. I was raised in California and South Carolina, but I now call the Appalachian mountain-filled state of West By God Virginia my home. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from West Virginia State University in May 2016 and received my Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration in May 2018. My dream job is to be a professor or a teacher of any sort. I spend a lot of time reading, watching television and movies, and making lists. I have had a lot of experiences, but there are so many more left to have. I'll always be honest on this blog and with people in general. I am laying everything out on this blog. I hope you enjoy. May 2018 Television Cancellations and Renewals

So I decided to take a break from blogging about cancellations and renewals, especially since the summer doesn't have a lot of those. So I'm lumping together May, June, and July into one blog post. 2018

I stopped blogging. I stopped blogging.  I stopped blogging.  I wanted to. I just couldn’t bring myself to. I couldn’t find the words to say. I couldn’t find the time. That killed me inside. I love writing. I love expressing myself in this way. Even the television shows I used to love and blog about weren’t what I wanted to express.  I was busy in the last half of 2018. I had to find myself again. I took the longest break from blogging that I have probably ever done. But that’s okay. It’s okay to focus on yourself. To stop doing things that require time and energy to be the person you want to be.  2018 brought a lot of new and ended a lot of old. When I started the year 2018, I was a different person. I was depressed. I was sick. I was in a marriage where we both were not happy. I was spending my time between WVSU, doctor’s offices, and home. It was a constant struggle. I was losing weight. Ugly Sweater Secret Santa Christmas Party 2017

I want to take a moment to really appreciate the humans in this photograph. Oh, and Bandit, who is like a human but is clearly a dog.  On December 9th, I threw a Christmas party! I was really excited about it. Obviously because I love party planning and human contact (sometimes). I really like holidays, even though the days surrounding them seem to be questionable. Regardless, I figured a party would cheer me (and everyone else!) up. I invited a butt ton of people, but only these (+ my mom) came. And that was okay with me! I made some new friends and it was rad!  The Ugly Sweaters were bomb. I was actually incredibly impressed by the variety of ugly sweaterness that entered my home. A few were really really ugly (Looking at you, Syd & Brandon). Asia won the Ugly Sweater contest though!
