Life Update 2/12

Sorry for such a delay! It's been 10 days since my last post. I wanted to... I really did. I just couldn't. The website I use for my blog doesn't have an app and then my Suddenlink (internet and cable) went down for five days. It was fixed about 20 minutes ago so here I am.

I figured I'd take this time to update everyone on how life is! It's Monday, February 12th. I'm about a month into my last semester of graduate school. Only like two more months left! I've been teaching for a few weeks now too. I've definitely decided this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. I want to be a professor. Unfortunately, I missed the deadline for an online doctoral program. So, I decided to take a year off since I went directly from my bachelors program to the masters. I'm excited to start this next chapter of my life.

We should be closing on our house within the next month! I cannot wait to move. The house we currently live in has carpet and mold/mildew. It's really affecting my health. I've always had allergies and anxiety and health problems, but since moving into this house, it has been incredibly worse. I'm hoping that when we move that I will feel a lot better. Fingers crossed.

As far as medical stuff, I've seen a few specialists. My PCP has no idea what to do with me so she keeps referring me. The ENT wants to do a CT scan of my head/sinuses. The TMJ specialist says I have a few different problems and we came up with a care plan. I'll have to wear a mouth appliance for a while to fix my jaw, which should help my throat and ear. I saw the urologist and he has no idea what is causing the constant UTIs. I just have to go back when I get another one I guess. Finally, I've seen a gastroenterologist/GI doctor. He didn't say anything really. He kind of asked how this started and ordered a bunch of testing. Between that and my endoscopy on the 22nd, we should have a basis to figure out what is wrong as far as my abdomen and esophagus. Fingers crossed again that it goes well. Once I get my esophagus and abdomen stuff figured out, I'm going to hopefully get my allergies and anxiety under control. One thing at a time, y'know. I need this stuff figured out because 1) I want to feel normal again 2) I need to get a job once school is over and I can't do it if I have a doctor appointment/feel bad every two seconds.

That's about it.
